Renaissance Limited (Cambodia), a subsidiary of the Australia-listed Renaissance, has refined 1,509 kilogrammes of gold ore from its licensed commercial gold mine located in Mondulkiri province’s Keo Seima district.
The update was made by Suy Sem, Minister of Mines and Energy during a hand-over ceremony of the ministry’s building to the National Committee for Disaster Management, held today.
The company exports all of its gold ore to Australia for refining.
Launched production in June last year, Cambodia’s first commercial gold refining plant is projected to have a refining capacity of about three tonnes per year.
