Cambodia ISP Ezecom celebrated its 15th anniversary in style and unveiled a new logo encapsulating the company’s new vision and strategy in the AI and Metaverse world.
Cham Nimul, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Commerce, was the guest of honour at a glittering ceremony that celebrated the company’s last 15 year’s success at its headquarters yesterday.
While Neak Oknha Kith Meng, Chairman and CEO of Royal Group of Companies, hailed the ISP for its achievements in the last 15 years, Yuni Lee Heathcote, CEO of Ezecom, welcomed the guests.
Nimul congratulated Ezecom for establishing a strong presence in the sector for the last 15 years and wished the company success in the upcoming years.
Heathcote highlighted three reasons for the celebration of the company’s successful journey of 15 years. “One, is a proud inauguration of our Ezecom headquarters. Two, is the happy celebration of our 15 years in business and three is to refresh our Ezecom logo that signifies the new inspiration as we enter the AI and Metaverse world,” she said.
“I am very proud and blessed to be given this opportunity to lead a wonderful team who believes and strives every single day in improving the livelihood of Cambodians in general. Things that they do every day are actually building blocks in the digital transformation and being the digital catalyst in shaping the Prime Minister’s vision of a digital economy,” the CEO said.
Ezecom, part of the Royal Group, said its ‘15th Anniversary Better Together’ theme is well represented with multiple colours that symbolize various stakeholders, from customers, regulators, partners, vendors, shareholders, and employees, that collaborate and harmonize together as eco-systems, to make success and progress happen for the people and nation, in good governance and strong human values.
Ezecom also received several prestigious international awards for its achievements over the years. Last year, it was awarded the renowned ASEAN Business Award (ABA) in the category of ‘Skill Development in Technology and Telecom’ at an ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (ABIS).
According to ABA, Ezecom won the award because of the company’s contribution to the development of the country and Cambodian people as well as building the professional, technical and vocational skills of the ASEAN workforce.
The company also clinched the ‘Best Digital Innovation Organization of the Year’ at the Cambodia Digital Award Ceremony 2022, the largest national ICT award. Ezecom bagged the award, braving competition from 172 applicants from ministries, organisations, local NGOs, private companies and universities. The award was organised by the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT) with the support of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications of Cambodia (MPTC).
Ezecom was officially registered in 2008 with a robust and bold background by putting the Cambodian ICT sector on the global map by being the only owner of the Khmer-owned Malaysia-Cambodia-Thailand sub-marine cable network and holding shares in the Asian American Gateway.
The company, which is also the country’s most extensive fibre optic cable infrastructure network provider, received an ISO 9001-2008 certification in 2011, 2018, and 2020 ISO 9001-2015 certifications.
